Your mid gets kill on the rune at the beginning, gets his bottle earlier and dominates his lane, gets out of control midgame and creates space to his safelane while dominating the enemy's half of the map, it all leads to their win. Also I'd recommend playing a different mode than All Pick. Personally, I learned the game through a bunch of Single Draft games. SD gives you a choice of three heroes, one for each primary stat. The games are typically less serious since it's hard to draft a perfect team and limiting your choice to three will give you a chance to check out each of them instead of being overwhelmed.

No they actually don't.
In Dota there are over 100 heroes all with at least 4 different abilities you all need to know how the function and interact with eachother then you also need to learn how all the items the game has also interacts with said heroes and their skills.
That's just the heroes and items alone, compare that to Starcraft where each interaction is cut and dry with pretty much no exceptions to the rules they have, where many units don't even have any special abilities or specific interactions.
The Dota map is also way more elaborate and requires far more time to understand and learn.
Now we haven't even started on warding, counter warding and so on.
There is so much shit to learn in Dota that even pro players that have played the game for years don't know everything.
This is merely scratching the surface. Seriously, don't start talking about stuff you clearly know nothing about. Now before you say anything stupid like I'm a blind fanboy, I don't even play the game anymore and I think the game is pretty bad now (along with Valve just running it worse and worse).
