Realistically, the absolute earliest I can see it coming out is in 2018. Perhaps earlier if some features are planned as post-launch updates.
Kinda sad, really. Overgrowth was mind-blowing back then considering it was until recently just a 2-man venture. Now we're getting inundated with indie games that this feels like an antiquated PS2 game. Still fun, though.
