I bought Y at release and regretted it deeply, I swore to never buy a pokemon game at release again. In the case of the gen 3 remakes this was good as many said those were shit. If its good I will get it but I'm doubtful.

I'm too old. The whole allure of playing Pokemon was that it was a fun, simple RPG game where you could make a party of 6 out of any monsters you found.
You wanted to roll 6 Magikarps? Or Pidgey? You could!

But, now that I am older collecting shit sounds like a chore and the game is too simple. It's still the same rock-paper-scissors bullshit, but with more items to try and spice up the same gameplay that's been around since Red/Blue and Gold/Silver.

I gave up on Pokemon during X&Y. I've played them all from Red to White 2, but X&Y made me drop the series for good.And not having enough money to buy a 3DS made it far easier for me to quit.Sinnoh is the best region. Platinum is the best mainline game, and Colosseum is the best spin-off.
