Match making in dota is strange.
The game matches you up with players that have been playing as long as you habe even in ranked. You could be matched up with better players than a newer player thats +1000 more mmr than you.

blizzard came up with the abomination model, however Niechus is the one who created the Pudge we know today (the one with the hook - Guinsoo created the first version with the corpses and carrion flies). blizzard then copied dota and gave every single abomination a hook ability.

I'm thanking the new updates for me not returning. I gave dota 2 a whirl this week and quickly realized why I left + learning the new map was a bitch.
Anyone managed to get past all the autistic rage that builds up when playing this game? I hated having a game pretty much be over 10 minutes in but still having to be farmed for another 40 minutes while both teams shitpost in allchat that I was annoyed or on the brink all the time while playing.

This game can be fun but only in tiny doses. Playing every day means feeling obligated to especially after really bad matches. I dunno... the compendiums and Battle Passes spice things up enough to incentivize playing otherwise it's just playing hoping you don't get cancer.
