Because of their disproportionate balancing of stealth, you could literally buy every augment and have extra Praxis points.

Then when I played it again I went for stealth. Now if I play it again, it'll probably be mobility only since none of the upgrades on either side help as much as the mobility options.

It is most certainly possible to get every skill by the end of the game. I can't say whether there's extra points or kits to spare, since it's been a while since I touched the game, but you get far more experience going stealth and non-lethal. Hacking, persuading, and exploring every nook and cranny will get you enough XP to buy everything even without Missing Link.

Think on disc DLC. The company line is implants need to be fully integrated with your nervous system before they turn them on to stop you accidentally activating the typhoon when taking a slash. The kits are some highly developed wet ware that tricks your body into accepting in them faster.

Not the guy you're replying to, but I've played HR many times. I know it inside and out.

It's only barely possible to get every aug in a single playthrough, and usually if you do you'll get them very late in the game. The vast majority of people won't be able to do this.

tldr the game is balanced fine

There was never really any cool shit to praxis into. While the hub system was a nice return, there weren't enough situations where you could use a variety of praxis and needing deep upgrades to it. Being able to jump higher, move heavy objects, hack level 5 computers, do 2 for 1 takedowns etc were the only things you ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. High need was the stealth upgrades, but that was only so you didn't have to micro through your stock of viruses etc. The extra battery charge was also a quality of life improvement.

Honestly arm strength loses it's utility after a while too, and I have but you probably shouldn't have reminded the thread that it exists, I booted it up recently and I can see all the bad design choices staring me in the face.

I'm also baffled at how they managed to make the main characters model look less poly than every elses, their eyes appear to be textured onto their face while everyone else has them modeled.

If you play the game like a modern day faggot and don't do stealth, don't do hacking, don't do persuasion, and don't explore, you are most certainly going to not get near getting every augment. The team themselves confirmed this when discussing the sequel. To begin with, melee takedowns get double the experience over ranged (20xp vs. 10xp), same for non-lethal vs. lethal. If you don't get Ghost or Smooth Operator, you don't get 500 or 250 XP from either respectively. If you don't succeed persuasions, you lose out on 900 XP.

The devs themselves said that they didn't do a good job balancing the two (or more) types of playstyles, which is why they tried to be a bit more encompassing with experience points in Mankind Divided.
