It's really not that bad. There's quite a bit of potential here.
My biggest gripe would definitely be the formatting. Not breaking things up into paragraphs or single-line structures makes it really tough to read; walls of text are imposing and it's hard to tell where some ideas stop and others begin.
Present-tense instead of past-tense also kinda irks me, but that's definitely my own personal issue.
Other than that, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Keep at it! I'm looking forward to finding out what the finished product is.
