A good Roadhog is one of the best teammates you can have. He completely fucks low-health attackers and supports.

Why would you play anything other than Winston for tanks?

Because he does no damage at all, and his ult is complete trash on everything but the last point/KOTH maps.
Every other tank is better in nearly every scenario. More damage, more utility, better ults, so on so forth.
Winston is amazing at harrassing widows, that's about it.

Roadhog is actually really good in control. He gets countered hard by Winston which is why his use in competitive play is almost non existent on control maps.
Zarya is also good, but just an inferior Winston which is also why she sees little competitive play.
D.Va is also good to play if you're new and playing against low skill opponents. You literally just spray for kills and self destruct on an objective for 2-3 kills.
