I know that, but it's probably the first cool looking set you find in the game and it doesn't require intense exploring or beating a hard enemy. And I think it's one of the lightest knight sets if not the lightest, I'm not sure, that's the reason why I, at least, used it for quite a while. Knight armor looks awesome and my build had no vit.

Good stats for its weight and it looks cool. I often find using pieces of it to complete a set without going over the burden load.
It is of course edgy enough that some people will never find anything that looks better in their mind, but every Souls game has had "that set".
Consider it a blessing, you can use it to pretend you're a new player and then surprise people with a BKGA hornet parry or something similarly strong.

It looks okay standing still, but when you move it looks bad. I hate how the cloth is like a sleeveless trenchcoat, that hugs the characters hips and torso. I've always been more of a free flow cape fan. Also the helmet looks dumb, it's too wide and doesn't look comfy at all.

It's called "Fallen Knight" and has a cool cape and hood while still being armor. There's nothing else like it in the game, and you find it early on.
