While the other anon BTFO'd you, I'd like to follow up by saying that if there is a larger number of AAA titles that focus on violence and combat, that is because videogames are an active media format as opposed to a passive one. The easiest way to engage someone actively is by presenting them with an obstacle, and the most quintessential obstacle for a player playing as a character is, of course, other people.
While there may be a place for a romantic game where the player has to move through a gripping narrative with dripping backstory, it would be very difficult to make and almost certainly mired because of the method of delivery. Put simply, games aren't really conducive to an incredibly complex narrative, comparatively speaking.
