No it looks great, PD was a 3GB tech demo that still looked good in parts despite being made in 2 months and not being part of the main game, and the entire kid Noctis section is not even part of the game, the IG battle at the end was a major step up from ED and gave way more depth to combat with the weapon switching, more directional inputs, aerial combat, magic, more combos and so on.

Technologically Final Fantasy XV will be an amazing thing, overshadowing other games like Witcher 3 and Uncharted 4. The weather system, lightning and quality and amount of animations of characters are miles ahead of everything that currently exists. Plus it will have an ending that will most likely make you cry. It has both darker tones, like nights getting longer as the game progresses and lighter themes like all the jokes you and your witty bros make. If you add everything up, Square Enix will deliver a product that will make us forget everything that was. The Post XV era will begin.

Episode Duscae was a mocked up isolated section of a map with barebones combat and not even 50% of the games battle system or features in it and with data outside of the boundary not present in the demo because it's not the full fucking game, you can even break out of the boundary and eventually the data just ends because there is nothing outside the boundary besides low LOD distance models, the feedback was to ask people what they liked and didn't like, but the devs still only made changes based on things they themselves noticed when playing through it and things they added in 2.0 o the demo was things they were already working on

10 years ago, gotta admit, it hooked me. It even was one of the games i anticipated for the PS3 but after the re designs and all the changes the game it became really doesn't interest me at all.
I've seen some parts that look mildly interesting though like Noctis dream or an advanced battle where the combination of a combo and magic plus teleporting from a train to a ship looks kind of cool but honestly i've also seen lots of car road trip, camping and eating at the service station + QTE and flying car.
I think i rather play the new KH instead but probably i'll end giving this a go at some point when it's price drops.
