XV is 50 hours minimum story you fucking faggot, there is more depth to the combat system already than any Persona trash where you just mash a single button to confirmed commands has ever had, you make use of combos on ground and in air, manual weapon switching, real time magic and party commands, summons, weapon abilities, chaining, counters, parries, etc, there is a fuckton more going on in XV than P5trash has, and that is all while exploring through a massively diverse world with actual popular NPCs in towns instead of fucking phase through copypasta that P5 has in the one and only town it will have.
P5 is going to be the same generic highschool kiddie romp through their shitty Japshit town where they act edgy at night and the story has nothing to do with the MC because he's just a blank slate self insert, meanwhile XV is about a prince going to reclaim his throne after his kingdom was invaded and he is suddenly thrust the responsibility of being king, all the while a curse rapidly ages him into an old man and the story deals with him and his father, the brotherhood of the party, the plague threatening the world and the Astrals, it will have actual character development not only for him but the rest of the party, P5 is not even going to do any of that shit because the characters are all weak anime tropes so they can do beach episodes with those plank ass lightning tier bitches and all those highschool pretty boy twink faggots.

You clearly never touched it, just from weapon switching alone it gives more depth than any Persona game could have because of the ground and aerial combat, and guarding has five completely different components to it aswell from dodge rolls to perfect blocks to shield guards to stances to parries, Shield gives you perfect time blocks, animation cancelling and lets you stun IG when blocking because it knocks back the enemy and opens them up to critical hits, using shuriken and airstep also alows you to perfect dodge his swing attacks mid air with the directional input backflips and come in for hits between swings, directional input gives you different weapons techniques too like tempest, brave slash, charge attacks, backflip dodge, etc, if you we're on ground you would not be able to be open up to him him when he does that since you'll either get hit or be guarding all four hits he does, also that is extremely effective not only for movement and combo in quick succession in the air but when you actually think about how it applies to the full game where you have multiple enemies and aerial enemies too then it becomes even more useful, the combat has more input than any Persona game did just from weapon switching alone, you never played it because you sound like you are full of shit, just someone who watched some youtube vids so you can shitpost while at least pretending you know what you are talking about.

Personally I'll say that ARPGs are on average better than turn based ones because combat in a lot of turn based ones quickly turns into an incredibly boring numbers game where more often than not the difference between if you can take on a boss or not is your level instead of the strategy you use, so you can't fight the boss even if you've mastered the game system because you're too low level but you can steamroll it by grinding enough. I just can't stand games where grinding is a viable strategy, let alone games where it's required (or you have to cheese).
Some turn TBRPGs are great, but a great many of them just boil down to "spam the strongest attack and status effects while your healbitch spams heal every single fight because this one rotation of moves is the most effective strategy out of all the options available to you at this point."
Beat my first persona game *5* on hard a few months ago. I enjoyed the difficulty of most of the boss fights but towards the end i would just grinds for hours so the fights would be easy. Grinding got boring quick and i ended up trying to rush to get the story going again.
