I don't get all the butthurt about ganksquads, everyone acts like they're this all brand new trend. There were ganksquads set up (specially at Dark Anor Londo) in 1, there were ganksquads (specially in the belfries) in 2. 3 just makes it a lot easier for them to be set up, but shit will fade off as the game stops being new and less people play it

Give back blue orb, fix sinning, and prioritize summoning Darkmoons for the host when he/ she is actually invaded by Aldrich at their courtyard, not reds.

I have 50 ears at my box.
Most of those kills were made as a blue sentinel, and yes I actually get summoned as a blue sentinel in the Aldrich faithful yard. But very rarely as an actual Darkmoon. Outside this area, summoning happens like every 10 minutes. But in the area that is actually important to the covenant it doesn't work. The faction that is designed to take on the Aldrich guys.
I'm saying getting paired up with Aldrich as a Darkmoon doesn't work. And I have spent 2 days straight testing this out.
Dark Souls 2 has at least the cracked blue eye orb and a proper Colosseum. It's online is superior to Dark Souls 3.

Fromsoft messed up the summoning system in the courtyard past the Pontiff for darkmoons.
I just want one so I can say I was a good Darkmoon and I fought against the forces of the Deep. I got ganked by Aldrich guys too when I first entered the place after beating Pontiff.
But Fromsoft mostly only pairs me with Reds when I get summoned which is rarely.
In fact, I have never been summoned to protect the host against just Aldrich troops. There always has to already be a dark spirit there.
If you ever joined the Watchdogs, you'd know that half the time they come in pairs. So basically its 3v1 against the host until I get a chance to be summoned.

I wasnt able to hit him, and he summoned another guy. when the summon came in he confidently emerged from the fog gate like the little cheating butch he is and i killed him as i was being ganked in that narrow as fuck hallway after the skeleton bridge. I've been doing this for about a week. It involves having white hair in your left hand, and a multi hit riposte weapon in your right. You have to twohand the talisman. Ironflesh lets you continue your cast animation through being hit, and then it's an easy grab. I've made about 40 ember alone from doing this on console. People are fucking dumb.

what you're having trouble with is actually latency rather than lag. You have to parry slightly early to compensate for it but unlike lag, latency is pretty consistent. Try parrying earlier than you think you should and you'll start to get a feel for the timing. Also don't use medium shields to parry if you're learning, they're garbage in this game.

Maybe it's just me but this "tank parry" move seems much less consistent after patch 1.04 (if I recall the patch # correctly). Originally I was able to parry to 3rd swing maybe 9/10 times if the target didn't delay their r1, and now it seems more like 3/10 times. It's possible that everyone is delaying their 3rd attack now that they're aware of the danger, but I find that unlikely when i'm fighting the kind of r1 purists that are dumb enough to spam at me for the entirety of my riposte i-frames.
