I dont play these kinds of games a lot so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
When I play mercy, I try to stay behind, around the corners where enemies can't see me but it gets really frustrating when my team acts like they're invincible with me healing them and just forward and forces me to follow them if I want to keep healing them. Then they die. Then I die if there's no where to hide or someone else to hook to.
When I play as rein, I end up playing very defensively to the point where all I do is just put up shield and never attack. We win but I'm contributing literally zero damage outside of E potshots. I usually do this on payloads tho, otherwise I go heal or offense.

his healing is the weakest of the 3 outside of his ultimate, and he dies VERY easily so he can be countered by snipers.
He became my most played character because I usually have a friend playing Torb and the armor can offset his health. Also, Lucio's damage got nerfed hard and I like being able to kill people while healing. Not only can Zen do that he's arguably the best Roadhog killer. I shit on so many Reapers that think I'm free.

Basically he is a super short rage assassin with no mobility and tons of HP. You hook Mercys away from their tanks or widowmakers and bastions away from their nice little tents and you blow their fucking faces off with you stupid high shotgun damage. His damage falls off to nothing after about 2 feel so you're really reliant on landing you hooks and then following up with a point blank shotgun blast to 1HKO you target, you can sort of brawl other tanks with you cherry coolaid sustain, but but Roadhogs attack speed and reload time is super long and hes only got 4 shots so i would recommend sticking to punishing squishies for daring to stand within your hook range

So i've been playing the console beta. Its about what you'd expect. Bastion seems to mow people down on PC as well so that doesn't seem exclusive to console, thankfully.
What I have noticed, though, is that most people cannot fight Tracer or Genji at all. They don't adjust turn speed and as such get molested by anyone going fast. Lucio too, though I think that's more about his height.
As a McCree and Roadhog player i've noticed that most people who play tank are horrid, minus the odd Reinhardt and most Symmetras spend the majority of the game making turret clusters in enclosed spaces.
Quick question related to Roadhog. Is his ultimate as meh as it seems when you're not playing on that one China map with the narrow bridges or the one in the factory near the payload end point?

Does the losing team get a hidden stat increase in overtime or something?
