Erm, that's very vague, there's many other reasons why the Arabs wanted independence from the Turks.
1, House of Saud wanting independence in Saudi Arabia. This family's been around since 1744, and has more money than anything you can imagine. They use that money for political power and complete control of Saudi Arabia.
2, Arab Nationalism was on the rise, and revolts and protests were almost weekly occurrences.

Zeppelins were insanely inaccurate as bombers and after the right ammunition mixture of incendiary, explosive, and traditional piercing was formulated, they were never used because it was piss easy to shoot down.
They did have nigh immunity during the earliest parts of the war because planes could not easily reach their height and anti aircraft weapons for that height didn't exist. But by the mid years of the war, they were gone because of quick advances.

Lets look, for JUST A SECOND, at what zeppelins actually did.
They were 30 years older than the strategic bombing campaigns of WW2, and THOSE campaigns were insanely wasteful and inaccurate. You would send dozens or hundreds of bombers with hundreds or thousands of bombs to carpet bomb an area in hopes of hitting a factory or an air strip or some target of value. Now take away all the advances of WW2 and put it in WW1.
Zeppelins were bombers, but I've never heard of them successfully destroying any strategic targets. They were a psychological weapon that terrified people. Death from the skies was a very new concept.

I'm not expert on WW1 history, but it was my understanding that the majority of black participation in WW1 was digging trenches and doing shitty support roles. The French had around 200,000 blacks from colonies in their forces, but not sure at what point if any they saw combat. Harlem Hellfighters were a thing and pretty fucking good at fighting, but they wouldn't have come in til the end of the war. Even then I think there were only about 400,000 of them. So even adding in a few hundred thousand more blacks, that's less than 1 million in a war with 11 million military casualties.

Zeppelins did war shit in WWI. Whether or not they were effective is not the point, because they were used.
Horse mounted cavalry had limited success in the war, true, but from what I understand there were a few instances, in Africa I believe where they had some success.
Nowhere is it implied that America is in the war from the start, because no date is shown. The ONLY American EVER SHOWN SO FAR, is the black guy from the Harlem Hellfighters, and that is in promotional material only. He is NOT in the trailer, and for all we know, the segment with him that you play is in in 1917-18.
Tri-Planes, again, were used in the war. As with Zeppelins, the effectiveness of them doesn't mean shit if they were historically used, even if briefly.
Most of the nations in the war developed armor for their snipers or MG crews, especially the Germans.
Aircraft carriers were not in the trailer, and have not been alluded to.

WWI is an incredibly interesting war, in all of its theaters. I desperately wish to play from the perspective of any of the major powers on the Western Front. British, German, French, Canadian, etc.
I want to play that part of the war, but I would ALSO like to see OTHER parts of the war. It's a World War for christs sake, and if the game was 100% the Western Front, I would honestly be disappointed.

At one point, they were deployed for 6 months straight, the longest deployment of ANY American unit.
Now I know America had very little impact on WWI, we all know this.
But America is the largest demographic for this game, so there was inevitably going to be a part of this game where you play as an American. A part, it's NOT the whole game, I feel I need to continuously stress this.
So with that said, if you're going to have to include an American part of the game, which you will have to, this is the world we live in, the Harlem Hellfighters honestly deserve to be on the list of American units to choose.
Why? Because they were one of America's most decorated units of the war, winning not only two Medals of Honor, but also France's highest military honor, the Croix de Guerre.
Couple that with the fact that they saw the most service out of any American unit, and it's perfectly reasonable to choose them.
