Actually Genji just preys on retards. Any smart player can clearly see when he's deflecting projectiles and play around it. I play Genji all the time and find that whenever I do get deflect kills, it's because of the scrubs that pick bastion as a crutch. Nearly any other class will wait for me to stop and then resume attacking.

Even that is not OP. He has to be very close range to be able to kill you with fan the hammer. The only reason you would run into him more than a couple of times is if you're playing a close range character who goes behind enemy lines like tracer or genji or reaper. I downloaded the beta last night with a couple of friends and we just triple picked Bastion regardless of the situation, and I think the worst round I had was 15-1 with a borderline shutout victoryon offense. Bastion completely fucks up retards, there's no such thing as a "main" in this game and you have to change up your character to fit the situation, literally every round we won because the opponents refused to give up their waifu character of choice and switch to something that actually countered our setup.

Even just from watching ranked closed beta there was no escaping it, and that was a much smaller pool of players.
Note that when Blizzard means "balanced teams" they just average the team MMRs rather than making sure everyone has around the same MMR, so one team might have a skilled player with a bunch of shitters, while the other team will be slightly less shitter and dominate all your shitters while there's nothing you can do about it.

Nah. Genji doesn't really have a hard counter if you play him correctly. Pharah isn't his counter, since he can deflect her rockets, and hit her real easily while she hovers around, along with his dash. And if she's going for ground shots instead of direct shots, he can stay in the air for awhile due to the double jump.
The only thing that really sucks about Genji is his ult, since it's an ult that wants him to jump into the middle of their entire team to hack and slash, but he's too squishy for that shit, his e isn't very good in that context, and the ensuing clusterfuck makes it easy to get disoriented and lose targets due to first person/kiting issues. Genji works better as a harasser never fully committing to a fight and jumping in at the right time for an e counter.

He's not, he can get some nice opportunistic kills and if the entire enemy team is weakened can get a bunch of chain kills with his shift skill. His mobility means advantegous positions easily, and good getaways. The core is still exposed. He can't put it inside a wall, and it's pretty big. If you unload a full magazine into it as tracer, it kills him. It takes tracer, what, 2 seconds to unload all of her shots? I've played McCree, I know it goes all of 6m. But like winston's it's the only time you're free to go in and if there's a reinhardt(there always is) you have to go nuts to get shit done with bastion's ult. She's a great disruptive tank rather than a protective run, possibly to be run alongside another. The damage on her energy ramps up extremely quickly without enemies realising, and with her barrier plus half-shield HP bar she can consistently just dive into enemies and fuck their shit up

Junkrat feels like he counters a lot of characters. He's one of the only guys that can shoot around corners, he can get MAD AIR to outmanuever or just get some breathing room with grounders like reinhart tracer and etc. plus his trap is perfect to lock down any character who tries charging in on you like most of the tanks.
Maybe it's just because I've been playing him enough to be decent but it feels like he's more of a problem solver than a problem causer.
What's the difference between white health, blue health, and gold health? I've noticed some characters use combinations of them but do they have different properties?
