I've done NG and NG+ as my first character, it was pretty fun but I wanted more challenge from NG+.
Also did a playthrough as a different character, a spellblade. It was a different experience so it was fun.
I also do a bunch of various forms of PvP with both. Today I white branched and used dried fingers and equipped way of the blue. Shame blues can't fight for shit.
Planning to meet up with a few friends next weekend to do a coop run, each of us cosplaying as one of the bosses.
There's plenty to do in the game, but after 200 hours you're naturally going to get a bit bored. Just replay it after a few months, there are other games out there.

Tips I can give to you without spoiling much:
>always stay embered after the high wall
>before fighting an area boss, explore it again througly
>don't buy the key the first merchant sells too early, buy it after finishing thecathedral area
>If you join a covenant, don't use their services before beating all the 4 main plot bosses (don't worry, most of their rewards aren't amazing)
This last one is rather specific>once you find a bonfire in a snowy area after passing through a river, DO NOT go down the stairs and instead explore the rest before doing so.

If you want all rings then you have to do the Sirris' and Anri's questline, have maximum rank in Watchdogs, and first rank in Darkmoon and Fingers, then you have to get all the pick-up rings, you can find rings from previous NG on NG+, they don't disappear, just few new show up.
There is 70 normal rings, 21 NG+ rings and 16 NG++ rings.

You know the ones, they do literally nothing else than spam parry when you get close, and attacking them from the front is way too risky. Even worse, the ones spamming with caestus. Maybe once ever 30 seconds they will attempt an attack, but it's rare.

no. i love the thrill of being invaded or invading someone. but i really got tired of how covenants focus on PvE more then PvP, example any fucktard can just put on way of the blue, summon 2 friends, wait for invasions, then have 1-2 blues help them while you're by yourself. the balance is all wrong but the ideas are there. if they really wanted invasions to be imo balanced they need the mad man covenant to have the option to have OTHER mad man summon and either aid or fight against you.
so far pve covenants have 3 factions that help each other out yet nothing in pvp that can have any form of co-op for intense 3v3 fights ect

I did Dancer SL30 with a Barbed Straight Sword +3 and it was very do-able. I'm sure with Magic it might be a bit easier since you can just keep backpedalling. It will be slower than with melee weapons so you need to be patient.

Alright, I am honestly surprised that Sorcery is fairly effective since everyone was saying it was shit My Sorcerer staff is +4 and it still deals a good punch with GHSA and Flashsword, the chant skill gives a good amount of returns as you progress, it's nearly insignificant early, but it add 100-150 per arrow later on, which makes a huge different in dealing with some enemies.
