He would have won if he remembered the matchup. It requires a playstyle that Mango isn't used to doing, but he has the ability to play that well enough to always beat Armada. He simply forgot to switch to the Peach playstyle. It is not a Peach problem, it was just a simple mistake, it was a fluke. He has probably learnt his lesson now, and will never lose ot Peach again.

because DI in isn't always the best option. If you DI every hit in you'll just get comboed to shit. And you have to get the right angle, it's not just 'in' or 'out' you can do slight DI, to mix your opponent up and lead your character where you want to go.
To get perfect DI you would have to hold perpendicular to the attack to survive strong hits, and DI away on combo moves so you don't get trapped in up airs and shit, which is no easy task to do since you can't DI on reaction, you have to predict

What are you retards don't realize is that the fox placing at the top of the tierlist and his domination on matchups such as peach and puff are reliant on theoretical scenarios, that is to say, a fox that doesn't miss extremely difficult near frame perfect tech skill for the entirety of sometimes arduous 30 minute sets against floaties does in fact destroy these characters.
The problem is absolutely no one can maintain this consistently with a character like fox which is also arguably some of the biggest combo food in the game, so a miss at high level means more often than not 80% or death.
In contrast characters like puff and peach have piss easy tech and free punishes on fox that are extremely easy to pull off consistently. Don't believe me? Fire up 20XX, pick peach and go to fd. Do the chaingrab. The timing isn't hard, the movement isn't hard, etc. Same thing applies to puff. Peach can more often than not get 30-50% off of one downsmash. Puff's upthrow can't be DI 'd off reaction, that is to say, you have to be pointing away before the animation even begins.
This is coming from a Peach Puff dual main, I have extreme respect for fox players, but I don't kid myself, more often than not the people I beat at tournament have been playing much longer than me, and have much better tech skill than I do. These even applies to HBOX, and armada pre fox dual main. Have you seen hfox?
