This so much this. I literally healed 57% of team damage and had 4 men resurrection with a double kill but play of the game gone to a bastion with a triple kill.

Also I found the game incredibly support focused. With being a decent support you can literally win any game. I fear this will lead somekind metas with team compositions like league of legends or dota 2. This would butcher the fun element for me imo

I am a massive Overwatch fangay, been playing for 2 months in closed beta and enjoying the open beta as well. I completely agree that for a multiplayer only game it's very barebones and for a lot of people it won't be worth the hefty price tag.
However, addressing some of your points

all of the maps have multiple flanking routes. The chokes are where the battle happens but the heroes going behind and taking the flanking routes win the match. If you keep batting your head against a choke without flanking you're a primetime nobber.

Overwatch doesn't have a deathmatch mode. You're not aiming to kill people, you're aiming to control areas. Kill people is only useful because it sends them back to the spawn point, which is a roughly 30 second run away. Also, before you use an Ultimate you need to charge it up by killing or healing.

I think what he means is the fact that he's a mobile turret. Normally one would have to keep rebuilding turrets in places to avoid being destroyed by stray rockets or to move back, but bastion is literally a turret that can adjust itself freely depending where the enemy is.

Mercy is actually a good pick, but you really need to play it by ear. Her burst healing is way better, but if your team is constantly hiding behind walls and buildings, you'll just get torn apart because you have no movement options. If they spread out but still keep you in line of sight, she's incredibly powerful.

There's way too few game modes. I would love a CTF mode, also DM and Team dm but knowing blizz never gonna happen. Feels a lot like wow pvp, nobody knows how or wtf to do and it's frustrating to see it over and over(watch). There's little variation each game. I can't spend even 40 euro's on such lazy gamedesign. I much prefer different guns instead of these awkwardly balanced heroes. I'm gonna wait for Doom I think.

No updates or balance patches. No extra content they have been hiding. This is the game you will get you mong. But it seems there's a hidden MMR or something because I get nothing but high 20s. Game play is pretty shallow honestly with 20 tick rate, huge ass hit boxes, infinite ammo, Q to win.

Anyone who complains about Bastion is a shitter when he's so fragile in the back and against snipers that he needs a dedicated skill to repair himself. There's no way to balance this game because you would have to punish being able to change team compositions on the fly. That'll just make it stale guessing game. Once you're good enough it's impossible to "shine" among other good players, which is shit in a supposed "competitive" shooter

The only thing I don't like about OW is that some matches are fast as fuck, even the fastest steam roll in TF2 isn't as fast as this, it's hard to feel a sense of victory when you finish a match in 3 minutes, it almost feels like a waste of time. Bastion is FUCKING GOOD on defense. He is so good he can turn an entire game around. My team was slaughtering the enemy and moving the payload, but they managed to disrupt our flow by killing 2-3 of us near the end.
The enemy team changed composition and set up turrets and bastion behind reinhardt. The map was King's Row and it was pretty hard to come in from behind/the side without getting shit on.
Bastion might not be OP, or might not be good in every situation, but he's damn good in some. People that he's shit have clinical retardation.

It used to charge from his shield taking damage, so it'd always, ALWAYS be up. He already has so many tools available to him, coupling it with such a devastating ult with high uptime was just too much, so they shaved that uptime down. You don't take the teleporter to spawn, you take it from spawn to the location she places it. Its for dying and getting back to the fight quickly, and its really useful. Its the only reason she is useful.
Everyone in the whole fucking game moves so fucking slow that a teleporter is actually insanely useful. Its only useful on the first point in Defend maps though, after that the walk back isn't as bad.

This. Splatoon is fucking revolutionary and I guarantee the sequel is going to blow everything out of the water. The gameplay is fun as hell, the weapons are cool, the ultimates you charge up aren't fucking retarded "LOL KILL EVERYONE" but still have a huge impact on the game.

The game needs to balance characters and maps.
As it is, some characters have an advantage over others, no matter what the situation.
Also, I don't quite understand the whole "countering" dynamic. Apparently the major reason that this game didn't go free-to-play (pretending that it wasn't money) was that switching characters mid-game is very important.
In that case, is the whole game supposed to be kind of a constant countering?

You can do both but switching characters is easier. Like on one map my team was getting rolled because we had no defense so I went torbjorn and held down the point at the very last area. If I hadn't switched we would have just gotten pushed right back.
I also find that some characters have an easier time on different parts of maps. On the first capture point one character might be good but the second one might have a big chokepoint or some other feature that puts your character at a disadvantage so you need to switch to remain useful to your team.

i mostly play mercy but just tried lucio because everyone here raves about him

I generally pick the guy who turns into a turret and then find a good spot to camp
