Is not a game about skills is a game about counters and if your team refuses to change to counter you lose. Everyone has infinite ammo so explosive character spam their explosives, Hitscan characters have auto aim ults for easy wins from any distance, Snipers have perfect steady aim. I'm not sure if TF2 was like it, but I don't like it for the same reason I don't like Destiny PvP. Ultimates. For some classes it's the welfare kills ability. Having to run three quarters of the way across the map after Hanzo uses his through a wall while playing a squishy character is pretty shitty. I just play that support with the teleport lately, if only to improve the game for the team.
Maybe it's better in ranked matches where teams actually pick their hero based on what the team needs. But then, why would anyone into competitive shooters play Overwatch?

Bastion has enough health that unless hog gets lucky and most of his shot headshots he won't kill him. Hogs only good for pulling him out of turret-mode and even then like you said earlier 9 times out of 10 you'll just burn him down as he peeks to hook.
Pharah, Widow and Rat are the only 3 that kill bastion without Ults. Hanzo with and honestly they should give him a crit-point on the front so Widows can not have to shoot his ass 3 times while he sprays their area.

What the fuck are you talking about? Literally any decent ranged DPS can shutdown Pharah's ultimate before she does any real damage if they're not being pressured by her team or if she doesn't completely blindside them. Pharah's die all the time while ulting compared to Junkrats and Roadhogs.

If the Bastion is retarded maybe, all he has to do is turn towards either of them and its almost assured that he'll kill them before they kill him, tracer bomb maybe but thats an ult and he's back up in 7 seconds. I don't consider anyone that has to burn an ult to Kill bastion a counter, if you can only reliably kill one character every 2 minutes that ain't a counter.

Tracer and the like die with one direct hit. But you have to be good to land them.
Also you can just spam them at an enemy's feet during 1v1 for guaranteed damage.

You have a passive AOE heal or speed boost. I think your shift lets you swap between the two and your E lets you amp them up. Your ult gives everybody, like, 800 health for a few seconds. Try and use his wall running to make yourself a harder target while staying around your team. You can press F1 to see what heros do, btw.

Reaper kills Bastion point blank after a teleport in 3 hits. Fast enough for him to get away with half life at worst if Bastion turns around as fast as possible. Tracer can also shoot Bastion in two clips well running around him effectively.
/v/ is honestly the worst site at video games because i've had no trouble killing Bastions with any character i use in most situations. If its Soldier 76 i just peak corners for a millisecond and fire a grenade and then focus fire with a team mate and he won't kill either of us.

In my experience playing Winston I have never lost a 1v1 against anyone. He puts immense pressure on you since he doesn't have to aim and his HP is more than enough to survive whatever they try to throw at you.
Genji especially, his shurikens deal like 60 damage when aimed perfectly, which does nothing to Winston, he has absolutely no way to escape him with his shit mobility and Winston just melts him in 2 seconds of holding down left click.
I bet I could pick Winston and have you play any character you want, except maybe McCree with his stun and still win every 1v1 against you.

So have I, and there is only a few people who he can flat out beat without exiting and re-entering the fight when they aren't retarded. Any tanks can kill him, any defense(besides pharah and maybe reaper if he isn't going full retard) and that's about it. It sounds like you are fighting people who aren't aiming for the head at all, which is dumb for him. When you 1v1 against a decent player you'll see what I mean, otherwise, yeah he can fight whoever he wants if the enemy is retarded, but so can almost anyone else.

He's alright, I only say Torbjs on defense because he deals with Tracer fairly well with his instant-auto-aim turrets that can chunk her decently well. In regular games he's alright you just have to not get attached to your turret, that thing is made out of paper.
