It'll be less good when actual power consumption numbers are tested. Nvidia always understates how much power their cards use. They do use a little less than AMD, but the gap is never as big as stated numbers. 99% of games released in the last 5 years + the next 3 years will be DX 11.1.
Literally only the next generation of consoles will even contemplate using DX12 no matter what Microsoft try to tell you.
DX 12 will require devs to literally throw out a decade worth of work for minuscule gains considering the problems with consoles aren't CPU bound the GPUs on the consoles are too pathetic for there to be even a significant improvement on DX12/Vulkan. That and literally the biggest performance gain that can be seen for this is literally for i7s and i5s at the top end of CPUs.
