A well leveled Cinnamon with kitty gloves on + a good number of turns in hyper mode pretty much makes this and every other fight easy.
Her whole free healing and the fact she can be really good means I replace Axl right away when I unlock those gloves for her.
I don't understand why people think RPGs take skill and hold them to such a competitive regard. Don't get me wrong, I love RPGs in general, but I like to play them since they don't require focus much like any other genre out there. I can just sit back and relax with these games. Eh, bosses are the only really interesting part of Dragon Quest, it's all about keeping a good pace of buffing/healing/attacking, it's almost a rhythm game at that point. For long ass superbosses (see DQ8) it's also a matter of keeping your cool and not stroking when someone dies or when you get debuffed at a critical moment.
