TGTBATU is an epic period piece, and Tuco alone makes it well worth while, whereas FAFDM is a much more personal story. I definitely like FAFDM's final duel more thought, in part because of the character motivations - it's about honor, while TGTBATU is just about money.

doomtown is what you get if you mix the wild west with dark magic and devil pacts, native american myths, miracles made by holy men, crazy inventions and martial artists.
It's a card game where the core idea is to earn more control points (which comes from deeds) than your rival have influence in the town (the sum of all the dudes). your dudes can move around in the town and this is very important thing to keep in mind, as you do one action your rival does his next, then comes back to you and so on until both decide to pass.
