Grappling him as Roadhog snaps him out of sentry mode but does not guarantee the kill if he has a single teammate nearby (which he most certainly does)

Sneaking up on him is only possible if he deploys in a shitty spot, which he will only do if he's surrounded by team mates or retarded.

It's pretty much impossible to stop some classes from running away, so there's never going to be a long strategic 1v1 fight that doesn't just come down to who has their moves on cooldown.

As people play they'll learn more and more. Once people start using voice chat more that'll also help. Saying where a enemy is on the right hand side ledge or something is hard to convey without talking.
