It's good, but need some work. Especially in certain areas like Play of the Game. Just cause a guy Ults and gets 2 kills does not make it better than a guy who gets a 5 man kill using his primary.
It's also definitely not for everyone and even I have some issues with it personally. Very hit or miss game.

Eh. It's kind of charmless for some reason, doesn't look great and a lot of guns feel really samey which I guess is understandable but still kind of surprising. Having literally hundreds of unlocks that come 4 at a time from boxes that can also contain duplicates of what you already have is a huge bummer too, same with hero skins being basically a bunch of recolors, a couple actual remodels and then a bunch of recolors for the remodels.
Gameplay design is kind of a mess as well. Some heroes have way more abilities than others, some weapons have alternate fire modes while others do not and the game is kind of poorly balanced as well; some heroes are simply better than others in the same role which is kind of worrying considering there's only a handful of them.
It's not bad and it's pretty fun in like forty minute burts but that's about it. I think it'll grow thin really fast.

Ultimate abilities are sort of crappy and makes the game casual.
Some heroes are completely useless. Most teams will only have one support or two at max, and you have no reason to pick anyone other than Lucio or Hope. If you pick someone other than those two you will already be gimping your team from not having those two.
The same can be said to many other heroes all in all.
That among many other concerns I have can be fixed easily by Blizzard. The problem is that most corporations never fix their games, Blizzard mainly. So I'll just wait some months and ask people who play it if the game is fixed and playable before buying it.

I've played a full day today and I'm already bored of it. Guns feel like shit. There's no incentive for good gunplay, you just spam skills and let the game kill people for you. Hell I don't know why 80% of characters have guns. Which in-turn makes the skill ceiling super low, there's only so many different way to use the skills in this game. And it mainly boils down to, the enemy used an ability, you better hope you're playing a character with a counter ability or you're pretty much fucked because the game will kill you. Think you can dodge without any abilities and use player skill? Nah they can't miss lol. The amount of "top plays" which were just "I used my ult/ability and got 3 kills" or "look at my 100% accurate turrets do all the work" is unreal.
The maps are pretty boring too. The most that I can remember about them is they're a straight line with maybe two other straight lines running parallel that are indoors.
Also every time I played McCree, I just wanted to play Fistfull of Frags, or Call of Juarez.

Some issues I encounter so far:

Yo what the fuck man. Can't blizzard run a map for too long? What's extremely bullshit about this one is that it can also occur during practice range

I'm not really good with this game, that's a fact. But I swear some characters aren't really that effective.

This shit's somewhat minor but what's up with blizzard and their love for barriers? It can be useful for some but don't fucking place it on a bunch of characters. I can see it on characters like Reinhardt since he's full melee but for someone like Zyra, I wish it will be replaced with something else.
>Character personality
The personality of the characters isn't that memorable. If a ski-mask wearing guy in a suit is more memorable and lovable then the game's poster girl/boy, you know they fucked up.
>Weapons doesn't have that "feel"
It's hard to explain, but the weapons in Overwatch doesn't feel that effective. Not in terms of how they deal damage or something, but the sounds, impact, weight, etc. I can't exactly describe it but one thing for sure, it feels lacking.
>No custom maps and own servers
For an FPS game that tries to compete with TF2, the fact that there's no custom maps and player servers is not a good sign. It's good that they made some handful of maps but the reason why I love TF2 is that it can play custom maps and not just its own made maps.

It pisses me off that, as usual in team-based games, offensive characters seem to get the spotlight more often than support characters.
For example, if I were to ult as Lúcio so that everyone on my team got a shield so that we could cap the objective, I should get play of the game, instead of Hanzo whipping his dragon dildo out and killing two people.
Objective success should count higher than kills in a game that's based around objectives rather than kills.
Game would be so much better if they went full MOBA and added an item shop and items.

It doesnt feel unbalanced, granted some characters feel better than others (junkrat, reaper,tracer) but they can all be countered and too much of a good thing ruins your team.
