It's really mindboggling. Even when I first started playing, it took me no time at all to figure out how to easily deal with him; even if there were multiples and protected. I actually kind of miss being low level, because it was so satisfying having lots of them to wreck over and over and see them panic, because they weren't used to being countered.
Personally, the only characters that feel a bit OP are Mei and Junkrat. The freeze from Mei's ice spray procs too often. Junkrat probably needs to have the damage of his grenades reduced. I feel like I'm cheating when I play him, because it's just ridiculous combined with his trap and mine.

If he's in your face and he M2 he'll kill you almost immediately especially if you're a large character.
Most people don't know how to play him which is why he appears garbage. He has a double jump, can run up walls, can flank extremely fast, his NOTHING PERSONAL kid attack is strong, his deflect can destroy people in mayhem. The fact that he forces people to stop shooting when his deflect is up is strong enough to turn the tide.

Genji is a good counter to bastion and if both players are on equal playing ground and skill a genji should be able to win. But majority of the time bad people play bad genjis.

It's actually rare I see a Reinhardt protecting a camping badtion, but I just go around and yank his ass from behind usually. Most Mercys aren't stupid enough to heal a camped bastion, and if they are, I let a teammate distract them or yank the mercy out first, kill her, recharge then yank the badtion. I mean we can go back and forth talking about theoretical game situations all day but you're really kind of trying to cherry pick the toughest and not-so-common situations that make it difficult. It happened on Ilios mid where she just stood uphill healing everyone who ran back, since Bastion was always back that became a problemEspecially since she only ulted when he died. I'm not totally against them, I just think it's an awkward holdover from RTS games that has no place in a game where you have psuedo-naturalistic control over your character at all times. Having to reload is a cooldown as well, but it feels much better because it's an actual action related to the function of the ability(of shooting). Your gun is out of bullets, so you have to stop shooting to put in more bullets. With OW's type of cooldowns your roll is out of...something so you have to do nothing(???) in order to recharge it? It's why that fighting game with cooldowns is such a dumb idea.
Supers are okay though, because it's something you earn which makes it automatically cooler for some reason, probably because it doesn't revolve around waiting.

Depends on the map and where they're camped and how competent/distracting your teammates are. The only honest and general advice I can give you on that is to think about the map layout, memorize it, and try to find an alternate path to him that he won't see you in, and sneak up on him. NEVER attack him in turret mode even if he's unaware of you, always yank first.
If a Mercy is with him, try to yank and one-2shot her. Even if he catches you coming he'll be focused on you which means, hopefully, your team will gank his ass from the main path while he's turned around shooting at/watching for you. If all else fails, use your ult to blast Mercy away then go nuts on Bastion and hope you mow him down enough, or blow her away then when ult is off, yank Bastion.
Basically, you have a ton of options and usually have an alternate route SOMEHOW, you just have to figure out how ot best use these options to turn it to your favor. The most basic thing you can do in desperation though is to yank Bastion anyways so he'll at LEAST be un-turreted temporarily, maybe even make htem retreat if they have 0 balls on foot.

I really liked Dirty Bomb, but the grindy as fuck system started to get to me. It's the LoL mentality where people will scream "IT'S F2P!", which is technically true but if you want all the mercs and a bronze (I think that's the one with the max perks) card for every merc, you'll need to grind for at least a few hundred hours. There were also some balance issues (but every game has that) and there were only 3 maps when I played. Now this is all based on my experience when it went into open beta. Look at Dustbowl. What a fucking nightmare that level could be, especially for the attacking team. Getting that first shack without intelligent coordination could be nightmare. Likewise, for the defending team to hold it, it could be equally difficult. The game was just a lot more chaotic in a way that made it really strategic.

He's a more aggressive sniper compared to Widow. His shift is a worse version of Widows Ult, but still invaluable if used correctly. E can one shot low hp heroes, especially in narrow spaces and his Ult is darn good, if not getting kills it at least creates a large area of denial, keeping people away from objectives.

They only do like 20 dps, but they slow enemies and the slow stacks per turret. Her normal attack starts off weak and gets stronger the longer you hurt an enemy, up to like 120 dps after about a second of sustained damage on an enemy. Teleport is fucking ridic on some maps, you make respawns literally more than 2x as fast.
Also, her shield used to be better but then Tracer with 200 hp and Zenyatta heal orb so they nerfed it. They should just adjust it per hero. So Reinhardt would get like 100 while Tracer only gets 25.
