Isn't this game supposed to be fast? I'm not one of those people who are really into old school arena shooters--I mess around in the new UT, but I'm not particularly good at it--but every gameplay video or webm I've seen so far looks painfully slow.

Bulletstorm is probably one of the most overrated games on /v/, played it after everyone here praises to high heavens, then the dialogue is so bad, being ironically bad is still being bad, and it's filled with modern shooter design trash such as health regen, all weapon upgrades are underwhelming extra ammo or charge attack. The special kills feel gimmicky. The end "boss" is literally a QTE and you don't even kill him, the game ends without a proper closure and says "maybe we'll get him in the next game" between the lines.
