Why? It's clearly light-hearted, I'm sorry you couldn't enjoy the fun but I enjoy the humour. It's easy, it has some really great moments, I'm never too frustrated by the downsides (the maligned orc caves, the ending) and I enjoy the subtext of the story.
And yes, I know that doing something facetiously doesn't automatically make it good, but it doesn't necessarily make it bad, either. It's based on DnD for fuck's sake.
