Uncharted actually doesn't have a lot of cutscenes. Most of the time you're in control of the character because the entire goal they have set is to make sections that would be cutscenes in other games actually playable.
It does have an (intentional) "movie" feel, but that doesn't make it into the kind of "movie games" /v/ whines about where you just watch and don't actually play.
Heck all the walking sims /v/ praised like Life is Strange is way more of a non-interactive movie than the Uncharted games.

The core difference between DMC and Uncharted is what the focus is on. DMC is entirely on the gameplay with an emphasis on style, so after you beat it you're encouraged to beat it on hard and be even more stylish to get SSS. Uncharted is entirely on the story and once you've finished something that only offers you in the way of story there's no real reason to pick it up right after and play it again. It's the same problem that Ghost Trick has. As brilliant a game as it was, once you beat it you've got absolutely no incentive or motivation of any kind to play it again afterwards for a good several years at the minimum.

I just don't like the gameplay. The gameplay is very basic, so when peopl herald is as the peak of video games it kind of sucks because I don't feel like there is anything that really makes it a good video game.
Don't get me wrong I respect what it does the story is fun and I do like the whole Indy thing, but it just isn't a game I look forward to actually playing.
