I never really got into Tf2, But I have played a bit of other Fpses and splatoon. If there's any other players that could relate and maybe give me suggestions on who to play? I prefer midrange, in splatoon I love using the 52 gal in splatoon, and the splat wall is my shit. I don't really mind her in most situations, 'cause she's incapable of doing much except when she's at close range. Other than that, she gets to block a chokepoint or hallway for three or four seconds.
When she flanks your team and no-one's paying any attention, it's infuriating to get frozen and killed 'cause my team let her get into close range, even though she has the movement speed of an inebriated slug.
Anyway, judging by the characters I've played so far, here's what I figure needs changing/my impressions:

Either faster movement speed or more HP. His damage is great for a support character, but when it takes an hour to crawl back to the front line, you can't play Zenyatta unless you have someone making teleporters.
>Mercy
She seems fine the way she is. If I had to change something, I'd make her dash ability faster, and make it work even when no allies are present (with a longer cooldown if you don't use it to bridge the gap toward allies).

This faggot is fucking useless, but I can never pull off a votekick when one shows up in my games. Only good for hunting down snipers.
>Reinhardt
Candidate #1 for nerfs in the future, this guy just dominates everything in his path. He plays better on some maps but god damn, the maps he plays best at he just annihilates everything.

Needs to be faster or at least do more damage. Fun support but hilariously inefficient in every aspect.

Mercy can defend herself, too. It's called holding right mouse button while locked on to an ally.
As long as whoever you're locked on to can fucking aim, you do some stupid damage. It's why I like pocketing Soldier 76's when they're close to getting their Ultimate. Damage boosted never miss rifle just fucking melts everything.
Same goes for Bastion and other burst damage characters that do well mid-range.

I use it all the time, mostly to pester (and sometimes kill) snipers, but I find in most cases it's more efficient to damage boost someone than waste time with a sidearm that takes ten years to reload. Sidearm is mostly for when your team gets flanked and the person you're healing is too poor to pay attention.
So what's the point of Zarya? I thought the shields she gave to people would be substantial and make her a more supporty tank, but they only last for like, half of a second? How the hell am I supposed to defend people like this?

Pharah is good because she can poke a corner against him. Since everybody is a bunch of newbies you can basically get away with anything, but hovering out in the open is a good way to die to a Bastion.

It's a spectator, and if it's anything like TF2 spectating the visuals rarely line up with what actually happened. It has to take input from both Reaper and Widowmaker, interpret that, then give you the results.
That's why you'll sometimes see a shot miss a teammate but it still killed him. Your game knew X was running away but Y had him targeted. So rather than make your client suffer the calculations it just assumes X got away but Y still hit him.
