I was about to ask the same thing. Just looking at it, it looks like a cheap anime style game that's probably mediocre at best, but maybe that's my bias against high school settings speaking. Still, I'm willing to try them if they are indeed good, I liked Persona 1 and 2: IS and they both had highschool characters (though I guess that really wasn't the setting, the fact that they were high school students was unimportant after the start of both games, it wasn't until Persona 3 that the series became a high school sim).

If you hate the high school setting don't worry, you don't spend that much time in school, the meat of the game takes place in the field trips that are the focus of the story. Honestly, the school part is not that important and is only there for the final dungeon.
