Did anyone else find the Soul of Cinder to be the toughest boss in the game over the Nameless King?
Cinder has some really fast attacks with some crazy tracking, a deeply varied moveset and can't be parried. One particular combo in the second phase can 100% to 0% a 20 vigor Ashen One.
Nameless King has only slow, heavily telegraphed attacks which will half health a 20 vigor Ashen One at best, leaving plenty of time to chug before the next attack.

Literally the only recommendation is 27 vigor and something like 20 endurance (to beat the area and boss without being 1337). Diminishing returns start pretty fucking early for most builds. If you can beat the area and boss at lvl 90 with a melee build you can beat it at lvl 50-60 too.

See thats the whole fuckin point, if you are directly under the fuckin bird there is a good chance hes gonna do that attack. Now heres the shocker, you play defensively at this point and try to make distance and dodge possible attacks if it was a fake out.
I got hit by that attack like 3 times in the 20 something times I tried to kill him. Its nowhere near his cheapest attack.
Also that attack has tracking so if you run in the direction of its ass then youre gonna get hit.

thats a shit solution dude. If you are trying to melee attack the head the safest position to attempt it is slightly behind. Problem being the dude will try and hit you with his spear a bunch, at some point you will roll under the damn bird in order to dodge and it will do that flame shit. Also Ive seen it do that flame shit independent of someone being underneath it. Although once you know the tell if you are prepared it is not too bad to dodge. That fight is just tedious as fuck because nearly any mistake, especially on the second half, results in a combo which will result in instant death. Its a bit frustrating really.

I was using a great mace and hyper armor doesn't work in pvp or seems to not work as well. Mid swing against enemies, I can get it to connect. Mid swing against a player and even if my attack appears to be inches away, I'll get flinched out of the animation.
After 116hrs I'm 100% certain poise is on and working for PVE only, enemies included and with certain weapons / armor combos.
