It's the first game I've been following where the art clashed so heavily.
I mean, I've seen concept art for Metroid Prime, Shantae: Pirate's Curse, Sonic, etc. and in each of those the final art was still roughly around the same quality.
With MN9, we got a kickass 2D still that showed the character blasting traffic cones and everything looked detailed and high quality only to get the final product and having it look like some 3D modeling 101 student's final project.
It's not like Inafune hasn't worked on 3D projects so I don't understand why MN9 looks so fucking bad, especially after four delays which could've been used to improve the visuals of the game.
