I haven't used them myself, but with dex/lck they apparently stack the bleed nonstop. If you are worried about that build not working out you can always try using Anri's Straight sword, since that scales insanely well with luck. Also having a Hollow infused weapon (shield on back) with hollowing over 15 will give you 5 luck at +10, so you will only need to go to 35 luck to be soft capped.

I've also recently noticed that message phantoms you leave don't match your gear. I left a message wearing the Sunless Helm and my phantom was wearing the Abyss Watcher helm. He was also holding two demon-fists instead of caestus but holding them like talismans, not wearing them on his fists and his pants were chainmail instead of the sunless pants.

I'd say for most people its because of its looks, but its actually a good armor set. Provides good defense for its weight.
I like how it looks too, its one of the few black armor sets, and its the only one I know of that has a gold trim on it. It gives it a regal yet ragged look when its hidden all under those torn rags and bandages. How do Pyromancy, dark element spells and Chaos / Dark infusions scale in Dark Souls 3? In DaS2 pyromancy scaled with both INT and FAI, dark element spells scaled with FAI or INT whichever was lower of the two and Fire / Dark infusions worked the similar way.
I'm using a FAI character so I'm wondering whether having pyromancies or Chaos weapons as side arm would be a good choice.

I went into DaS1 completely blind and was using Full EK set upgraded to +9. Black Knight Sword +10 and Silver Knight Shield.
Found out later that it was a very common set up, but it makes sense, all of those things are good.
