I haven't used them myself, but with dex/lck they apparently stack the bleed nonstop. If you are worried about that build not working out you can always try using Anri's Straight sword, since that scales insanely well with luck. Also having a Hollow infused weapon (shield on back) with hollowing over 15 will give you 5 luck at +10, so you will only need to go to 35 luck to be soft capped.

This is how Luck works:

i use a straight sword as my main weapon so i'm usually fairly close
tbqh for me right now lightning spears would have to improve vastly to even be on par with a +3 longbow in DPS, never mind in terms of how many i can fire
