All they've said about the NX is that it's going to allow them to consolidate both their handheld and console divisions into a single united front, and provide a consistent platform that makes porting games between handheld and console easier. All the rumors have been corroborating this by implying it's some sort of handheld/console hybrid. Please don't mistake "handheld" for "mobile", they're pretty different things.

I love 3D World from start to finish. It takes elements of every single entry in the Mario franchise and blends them into a polished, fun, and continuously varied experience that gets more fun with more players, not to mention rewards completionists and has one of the best soundtracks of the generation.
