>Finished. Wonderful ending. I teared up a little knowing this is the end for the franchise and Nates stories. That said, took me 15 hours and since the statisticks dont count cutscenes from what Im told, I'd guess the game was anywhere from 17 to 19 hours in length. My favorite third person shooting adventure game of all time. Naughty Dog you wonderful geniuses, you all should be so proud of what you made here!

So about a month ago I picked up the uncharted collection. Id never actually played them, not really being into the action adventure 3rd person puzzles. But my ps4 had a distinct lack of gaems so I bought it. I mean 3 games for 50 bucks isnt bad and im more of a story driven gamer rather than multiplayer. So on paper it seemed up my alley. If you asked what I thought of the games on the first 30 mins id tell you. "Clunky and unresponsive" but the longer I played the more I came to terms with the dated controls and visuals. Now, in hindsight I can tell you that not only was it fun to feel the handling get better with each game along with the visuals but the games themselves have an enjoyable story. I liked the twist with Eldorado and shang gra la. Pillars of iran was okay, and the ending of 3 was a little anticlimactic. Overall I liked the games and got hyped for 4. I heard uncharted 2 had the best multiplayer, a shame o couldnt of played it

I'd say that GTAV fits the bill and also has sandbox component that Uncharted has not, just cause or even Saints Row have a funny setting while having an advanced physic engine worth fiddling with.
For better platforming the Prince of Persia trilogy is more spectacular and has good learning curve, not like "press x for Nathan to play the game by himself".
For more TPS focused games, Resident Evil 4-5, Dead Space 1-2, Gears of War games and Max Payne ones beat the fuck out of Uncharted's TPS gameplay.

And that part in UC2 where you have to move the arms of that statue in the city temple. It's not very obvious how you're supposed to get up there; if you managed to figure out all the different climbing routes on the first try then I commend you.
There were also some challenging climbing parts once you get into the ruins in UC2, and all the climbing in the "mountaineering" section is fun and nowhere near what I'd call "braindead"

You use cover in almost every shooter, the problem is that Uncharted's implementation, like Gears', is painfully boring to play. It's too easy to just shoot everyone in the head as soon as they peek out.
