People Can Fly left Epic back in June of last year, and they kept the IP. It could very well happen.

Well that's great. Bulletstorm was one of the most charming games I've ever played.
It was also one of the few futuristic games that didn't devolve into "shoot da alien" or had laser nerf guns.
