Also worth noting whenever I fightclub with this character I don't heal after each win because this build is so broken you barely take any damage so instead of winning I see how many matches I win until Donald Trumps wall finally falls.

Lothric Knight Long Spear
I thought it would be boring and that it would just be a supplemental weapon for me, but it ended up being my main weapon on this character because actually getting to use spacing in fights is fun.

Wouldn't it make more sense to drop the dex and invest it more in end, vig and maybe vit to be able to medium roll with Morne's set on to become a proper knight of Carim? The dex is effectively wasted since Morne's hammer only scales on str.

Worked on this face for almost 2 hours. She's blind because I'm going for a blind swordsman trope with that char.
I go through Dark Souls extremely slowly and have been summoned to do bosses at least 20 times as part of the sunbros and I'm like level 45 right now.
I am about to fight the Deacons but I skipped the Abyss Watchers just cause, am I a scrub?

Yes, I enjoy cooping bosses but I always solo them on my first try.

Then you're playing the game the right way. I usually kill a boss on my own then drop my sign outside his room to help people out and perfect my game for NG+.
The only thing I'd urge people to do is to try to beat all the bosses solo because that's what they were designed for. A few of the bosses are tedious and stupid enough to not suffer that much from co-oping the first time, but many of them are so much more fun on your own - even if they kick your ass again and again.
Don't worry about that build.

I've been enjoying fucking with new players with this character.
I think I like Dark Souls 1 better but that might just be because it was my first Souls game so I had no fucking clue what I was doing.
Dark Souls 3 seems to give you too many bonfires and too many estus shards imo, usually when I die in DS3 it's just because I get raped in a corner or I tilt and get gibbed from half health to zero while I still have like six estus charges in my flask, I remember during Dark Souls 1 I would die a few times because I was going through an area for the first or second time and I would run out of estus, and my estus didn't get broken until well after Ceaseless Discharge.
That being said I still fucking love DS3 and some of the little fuckers are still pieces of shit

Seriously though you gotta press parry like half a second BEFORE the enemy swings their weapon down, not during the swing. For precise, DS1-like parries I recommend using a katana.
Also, you can parry only with shields that have a small white dot in the corner of their icon.
