Then figure out how to do it given the heroes that are already in the game. Don't just play McCree every match and wonder why you're getting wrecked by the most basic defensive characters. Half the heroes in the game have a counter for them, figure it out.

Bastion isn't that good if you get good.
Torbjorn is a different story, since his turret has a 40 fucking meter range and is impossible to get near given decent team comp, but Bastion is fine since they killed his Shield, still annoying in some comps, see 2 Bastion, 2 Reinhardt on Hanamura 2nd, but yeah.

I understand the sniper role in a game but at some point they have to realize that it's not fun being killed by something you didn't even see. What matters is not so much your ability to dodge as it is their ability to aim and aiming in this game is pretty fucking easy.

The thing is is that the damage for widowmaker and hanzo is completely reasonable for what their playstyle is. It's just the charge time for them is so short that they can pop off damage so incredibly fast that it's easier to fire scoped shots as widowmaker then it is to fire of the SMG.

i've been playing as Heavy recently and its been great BTFOing the entire team, slowing down tracers with the natasha, and overall massacring the enemy. genjis have no real way of attacking me, even from behind they cant get enough damage in before they get knocked out. and being able to deny most attacks like rockets is always a plus.

In the closed beta, even in the stress tests people atleast seemed to gain a basic grasp on what they're doing and almost everyone used voice chat. I haven't heard a single person talk and i've met the dumbest players i've ever seen. I am often 50% of my teams kills when playing tank or support. Lucio or Reinhardt shouldn't be killing more than Tracer, Widowmaker & Winston.

I played during the free stress test weekend and most team comps were:

Bastion is a heavy bottlenecker that can reverse a rush with his ult. Very strong defensive play. Torj is similar but his ult is better for denying a rush rather than reversing.
They both have been tweaked down a bit but neither is likely to be nerfed more because they need to encourage defensive play (even if it is aggressive) or the already fast matches will be steam rolls.

Bastion kills Tracer because she can even hit the recall button. The moment she is in his line of sight she dies instantly and mobility wise tracer is actually one of the worst characters to deal with Bastion because she has no way to use secondary routes that require advanced mobility so Bastion will always see her coming
The best part is he can actually kill her while she is spamming blink because that tiny time where she can be hit is enough time for him to kill her. There are a bunch of easy ways to counter Bastion but Tracer isn't one of them.

torj's slag pistol is fucking beastly. projectile with some drop to it, but decent speed. alt fire is a shotty style blast.

Out of all the heroes the only ones that are objectively overpowered are Tracer and Lucio

Only Lucio really. Tracer can get shut down pretty hard by a lot of characters, Torj's Turret most of all. I've rarely seen a Tracer just absolutely dominate a match, though I'm sure she attracts a lot of the shitters just like Genji does.

Regardless, her playstyle is different than the Scouts. Bastion was already nerfed. A bunch of times.
First time was changing his Ult from the remote-controlled mine, to the tank.
Second was changing his turret mode from being locked to 180 degrees turn radius with a forward facing shield, to no shield and full 360 degree turning radius.

Pharah is actually pretty strong. Can destroy Torbs' turrets two hits and him if he's next to the turret. Kills pretty every 200hp Hero in 2-3 hits. High mobility and repositioning. 1 shot to a support leaves the support wounded/really low hp. Can be longe range rocket spam. Knockback disorients opponents. She's annoying af. Pharah is pretty good spot.

I want to like this game. I really, REALLY want to like this game. I wish it were an extremely fun fps i could play with my friends just like the good old days. But it feels so uninspired. The characters are so obvious. The difference in power between them is so big. The maps are so boring. It's such a stale, souless game. She's more of an objective and ambush based character, been doing pretty well as her.
1. Boost to the enemy Widowmaker and push her off her vantage point, hopefully kill her
2. Kill high priority squishy supports
3. Get up in their face and just shoot, you're really tanky and you get your Mech back fast
4. Ult to clear a held up objective. Make sure your team knows your ult as ready (press Z)
5. If you E in front of a Bastion and your team is behind you, you can get rid of him really quick.
6. Your guns are like shotguns. They scattershot, so get close.
D.va is a really annoying and persistent Tank that never dies if you keep getting your mech back.

She's bad, yeah.
She can't protect her team nearly as well as other tanks, and her weapon is a peashooter outside of pointblank.
Her ultimate is pretty bad. Unlike Hanzo's similar ult, which can surprise enemies through walls, yours will never get a kill on any competent player and will only clear the area for about 5 seconds.
Also her head hurtbox is gigantic.
If you want to play her, only do it if your team has a proper tank.

Everyone in this thread saying Genji counters Bastion as if anyone who isn't an idiot won't just stop shooting as soon as he presses E. Not a real counter if it only counters people playing like retards.

You'll be surprised well this works. Bastion only has 300 health and his minigun does massive damage, and even if he stops shooting you can usually finish the kill using m1 and the dash.
