No one in the community is willing or able to lead the fans of COD4 to redemption. Theoretically speaking, the same thing that happened with Super Smash Bros. Melee *could* indeed happen with COD4. It could just be regarded as its own eSport, most of the pros ignore the new games and focus on COD4. We don't even need Activision's support.
