My game never froze once in like 80 hours of playtime or something like that, never had any problem with collision or framerate either.
And I don't care about the game.
It's also clearly not the experience of the average player. The only problem I've experienced was a slight faction/script bug during a quest triggered by having a power armor while entering a specific zone.

I got gifted the Fallout 4 preorder and the season pass. I'm probably giving it a try once everything's out and there's lots of mods, on survival mode.
I just didn't enjoy the game at all. The story and dialogue was so shit, the mechanics were so shallow and the weapons were so repetitive. I'm hoping mods can fix it.

Even the small bugs are really sparse, it's the first Bethesda Fallout that wasn't broken on arrival.

That's a shame, but that's what I mean. Altogether with the two characters I got 150 hours out of it and felt like I was done after doing Institute and then BoS, especially since the other two factions seemed like 'dead ends'.
Compare this with New Vegas, I put 1650 hours into that with mostly House. Skyrim? 750 and I re-installed it again recently so that number will rise. Morrowind and Oblivion? I can't imagine.

There's one bug I ran into like once or twice that's really minor, basically you know how your companion gets 'knocked out' of the fight?
What happens is they get stuck in that pose, so you have to BEAT THEIR ASS so they get knocked out of it. So don't get the perk that makes it so you can't damage them.

I did play the game through with hardcore mode but it's not survival mode, you can save your game anytime you want, it didn't have diseases, no adrenaline buff and it also didn't remove quick-travel among other things.

The only way to truly fix it would be to re-write the entire game's dialogue to give all the NPC's (and your character) more stuff to say. Then you would have to re-voice every single character in the game with the new dialogue (except the player character, who can stay silent).
That's literally how bad the dialogue system is, it's so bad that the only way to really fix it is to remake the entire thing from the ground up.

I like Fallout 4 and I like the new DLCs.
Automatron was lots of fun. I enjoyed the Mechanist, the new robot enemies, and crafting new robot companions and settlement guards. It was a blast.
The Wasteland Workshop got me into the settlement building as a whole. Before, I wasn't too concerned with settlement building because I was focused on all the quests. But now that I'm done, I can start actually developing the settlements. Candles and other flame-based lighting really make a huge aesthetic difference, in my opinion. They have a much warmer, cozier feel than electric lights, and are less resource intensive. I'm going one settlement at a time, trying to make each one into a place where I think it'd be nice to live and/or contributes to the rest of my Settlement Network someone.
Ex: Sanctuary is mainly a quiet little residential area. All the houses now have furniture, beds, lighting, and fire places. I also made a totally custom bar/restaurant in the cul-de-sac, where everyone chills at night. Red Rocket is a little shanty-town that focuses on scavenging and crafting, and is also something of a shield for Sanctuary. I plan on making Starlight Drive-In a big shanty-town with lots of multi-leveled shacks connected by bridges, all surrounding a central warehouse where everyone works. But, I want to wait until Far Harbor's release since I hear there's gonna be cool stuff like warehouses and industrial manufacturing equipment; if that's true, I'll make Starlight a manufacturing base for the rest of the Commonwealth.

There is nothing to fix, it already IS a flawless experience. Every single one of my, err I mean BETHESDA's decisions is a brilliant addition to the Fallout Experience which was only tainted by the pieces of human garbage who work for Obsidian and Interplay who had no idea how the Fallout Series is supposed to work.
You should still buy the DLC though.
Also the season pass will increase in price to 120$ and every DLC to 60$ because they are so good and complex that even giving them away for 1000$ would be far too less for such amazing content which is a blessing for every person able to be enlightened by such magnificent pieces of art.
