If you enjoyed Undertale, you're actually a fucking retard.
The demo was reasonable enough, but even at the time, I had my reservations about how the twist would carry over into the full game now they'd blown their load on the kickstarter.
Honestly, I shouldn't have worried. Everything past the demo area was so utterly awful and plagued with "check out this sweet meme brah" trash that the joke of a story and meaningless use of the save mechanic barely even registered.
Up until the flowey fight, I was willing to give the game a pass for being mediocre but filled with the kind of awful pop culture that fat chicks can't get enough of. That would have been my assessment.
But after the final boss in a game with zero challenge decided to fucking patronise me by creating a "scary" situation where you take lots of damage that doesn't actually matter because it's impossible to die, I figured enough was enough.
It's fine to make a piss easy game for children if you really want to. But don't pretend there's any difficulty in there to make the boss more exciting for your fans who don't have 2 IQ points to rub together.
I'm sure one of you obese lardbuckets will now scream "but the SANS fight!!", to which I say, it was completely optional and hidden, and no tumblrcunt played the game like that anyway.
