Its been awhile but iirc after she gets poisoned you get a Korcha asks you what you're going to do and it boils down to "Save Her!" or "I don't know". In the I don't know route apparently while you're having cool adventures with Glenn "important enough to get character development" dragoon man, some dude(implied to be the Norris of that world) pops by and gets the missing ingredient to save her.
