OK /v/, your entire Steam library is purged, but you get to save 3 games. Which do you keep?
of the games you do keep, you're entitled to all further patches, DLC, multiplayer servers, etc.
If my steam library got purged I'd just pirate literally everything and never buy anything again
I wouldn't care about saving games, I'd pick whichever 3 had the worst ratio on piratebay/KA
I'd go get tf2 again since it's free and pirate any other game I wanted to play. I wish I could just ditch steam but I've unironically bought games.
Buy gun and go to dollar store, grab every gift card and force the cashier to activate them all, profit
I would just stop using steam.

to the people so willing to pirate, how often do you pirate nowadays?
do you really feel entitled to get games illegally if you've already obtained them once?

Looking at the games I play most I'd keep
>Nuclear Throne
>Race the Sun
>Risk of Rain

I'm not a cuck, so yes
>>336315095
>Nuclear Throne
overrated game desu
Of my 16 games I'd keep
Deus Ex: HR
Divinity: OS
Shit. i don't even know the 3rd one. I would say Skyrim, simply because I play it once every 1.5 years or so. But it's not good. Can I save my 3rd spot for Deux Ex: MD?
Path of Exile (could create a new account but I want all the effects I've earned/currency/etc)
FTL
Risk of Rain
>only game I play regularly is f2p
Guess I'm picking 3 titles I haven't even started yet.
>>336313748
None, I'd just switch to GOG.
I only play old point & click adventures nowadays anyways, so I'd be fine. Fuck Valve and Steam tbqh.

>if you've already obtained them once?
The reason you pay for games is because you want to remunerate the person who made them. The moral argument against piracy is that you aren't doing so. If you've already done so, what's the objection?
>>336316473
Because it's still illegal. When you read the TOS, it says you're not entitled to the games you 'own', but rather you have a temporary license to play them that can be taken away at any time.

>Risk of Rain
Don't you mean risk of crash? I am so funny
>>336313748
XCOM: EU
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
Civ V
They're the only games I play anyway.

It*'s not illegal. It's copyright infringement, which is civil. As such, you're no longer arguing against downloading because of legal principle (which isn't a fundamentally wrong reason to argue something, to be fair), but that you believe they'll have grounds to threaten legal action. Not that it's relevant to my argument, which was ethical and not legal.
Additionally,
>terms of service
lol

Reply.

>mfw only 3 games in my steam library
>risk of rain, hotline Miami and warframe
It is both a blessing and a curse
Final Fantasy IX
XCOM 2
Civ 5
Arma 2: Combined Operations(With the DayZ Mod)
Thief TDP
Fallout New Vegas
>>336313748
Marvel Heroes
E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy
Mount and Blade: Warband
It was a pretty hard choice. Tabletop Simulator, 100% Orange Juice, Unreal Tournament, and Audiosurf would be hard to give up.
Half-Life 1 - (still love playing mods)
XCOM 2 - Will probably be the best xcom after the dlc releases
STALKER: SoC - I am slav after all
