Fucking god-tier story, atmosphere, SOUNDTRACK, gameplay is pretty good too once you get the hang of it and stop pretending it's call of fucking duty.
Its insulting you put Witcher in the same picture of these other two games. Especially along side Mass Effect. Not even close to being on it's level.

Witcher 1 was not a very good title, the developers were figuring out what they wanted to do and although it's playable it's not that enjoyable, to the point where I'd tell people to just start with witcher 2.
I, personally, don't like the mass effect games. But even among people who do, they say that mass effect 1 was not nearly as good.
Deus Ex is a fucking mind-blowing game, and even though it obviously has a lot of dated graphics and mechanics, the incredible amount of options and ways NPCs react to you still makes it a phenomenal game.

The witcher is a buggy fucking mess with broken dialog choices all over the place, unusual triggers for quests and often bad dialog. It's not bad but fuck is it inconsistent.
As for Mass Effect it's first game is just generic, uninspired sci-fi with mediocre combat.
