how is this controller? I'm looking to replace my old wired 360 controller

It took me a little while to get used to in Dark Souls 3 but now I fucking love it. It even has community cloud configurations you can try out. I didn't like the little menu and just wanted lock on for clicking the right pad, some guy already modded that in. Tried out his control scheme and loved it.

decent/10. There are some games it refuses to work with (magicka) but it's extremely precise.
Each pad comes with a center button that needs to be pressed on DIRECTLY for it to work but the customization makes up for that.

Better than the 360 one, not as good as a proper d-pad. Fighting games are still impossible for me, but platformers work just fine. Most people report best results with a big deadzone, haptic feedback set to high and no click required.

PS4 with the Xbone sticks. They're taller so more finger movement is more precise, they're concave so they hold your finger better, and the plastic doesn't rub off after a few months. I like the feel of the finish on the PS4 sticks but in every other way they're awful. I swapped the sticks the first week I got it and haven't looked back.

You can just buy a set of xbone sticks on amazon, they're manufactured at the same place as the ps4 sticks so they're both cross compatible. As far as I know, the 360 sticks aren't.
It's hit-or-miss: it CAN be better than standard sticks but m+kb are still absolutely the best.
It's fun for certain sidescrollers, and perfect for Worms; you can just pass the controller around, did this with six teams.

I replaced my old 360 controller with it. You need to customize a lot to make it work properly but when it works it's better. Sometimes it's a bit buggy though and a few games don't recognize it.
Don't forget about the neat back buttons, those are quite enjoyable.
