Thing is, in movies and books, you're only reading/watching what happens without being involved. I'd be interested as to what would happen if you were in charge of a relationship, asking yourself questions like "What if I do _____, what will he/she think?"
I would certainly be interested how you the player would react or predict what would react what would happen.
