Zero had a bigger impact on me because it was radically different from the other games. In every Ace Combat, you're either treated as a hero or shape up to become one. In Zero, you're regarded as a demon, a bad guy, by most people. It's the only game in the series that treats the war theme in a darker light, it's the only game in the series whereeveryone gets a bad ending no matter what.

I can respect rating ME1/2 highly, I too share a great experience playing those which surprised me - however having FNV so highly (over original fallouts too) as well as MGR (over both the MGS series and similar games like bayonetta/dmc) makes me question your taste. I feel perhaps you have yet to play older games and I would recommend it.
I don't know what TW2 is supposed to be (Total War 2?) and I can't think of anything that good with TW as it's initials. As for metro I feel the game is completely overrated in my view, hence you gain no points for that one.

Fuck no. As a game its mediocre, its story is compelling and it's characters are good but it fucking sucks as a game. The gameplay exists solely to get you from one cutscene to the next. Its clunkiness is not some design decision, its pure laziness. I bet he thinks Ellie sprinting her ass off and not attracting any clickers while you can barely pass wind without getting your butthole tongued an intentional design decision as well. Yeah, all brought down heavily but buttfuck retarded AI, a crafting system that, while still fitting the theme of the game, felt arbitrary and forced, and "stealth" sections in which you exploites aforementioned retarded AI just so you can reach the next cutscene. I don't think you're wrong for having the game in your top 5, I love Asura's Wrath and the gameplay sucks donkey dick in that game, I just don't see the appeal of PLAYING TLoU. Its much more entertaining and lighter on the pocket to just watch the cutscenes on Youtube.

I've played the game on Grounded alright. I've beaten it twice. But the combat itself on that level takes a huge dip in the melee aspect when you realize how hard is to understand how enemies approach you and you approach them. I had situations where I sneak up on somebody and spin around and execute me. I've gotten into brawls where I just smack the shit out of a dude, halfway through a punch it teleports to me getting my face slammed in.
Melee combat is like a third of the game's combat. It really drags down what is a generally tense combat scenarios when they fucked up that hard. I'd say Gears 2/3 or Uncharted 2/3 and maybe 4 might take the throne of the best TPS ever made.
I mean Grounded has good moments for me like ghosting the last part of the game to get to Ellie. But also has tons of shit moments in what seemed like a good game on the first playthrough.
