It was just shit, they should have just built what they had been left from nv into a new engine added some improvements and spent time writing a decent story. Instead they overhauled tons of stuff that didn't need to be touched and casualised it out of the ass. The moment I saw that the weapons were random auto generated junk and legendary was now just a prefix and weapons had retarded fucking enchantments on them I knew I was never going to play it. I just don't understand how they can fuck up so bad, Fallout 3 was good, they had the formula right. Obsidian took that and improved it, making even more ammo to use, further crafting adding a great hardcore mode and giving us a good story too, I didn't like the Mojave all that much, but again could be fixed in the next game with a better location. But then Beth took that and just trash it all and you have F4.

The world makes 0 internal sense, the commonwealth politics make 0 sense, and the faction motivations and actions make 0 sense. Its what i imagine a 12 years olds idea of how the world works is, something he cant grasp but can describe in broad mostly wrong terms.
