I played the game anon. It's a slow and cumbersome PVP FPS where you focus more on killing little robot NPCs than actual players. Gunplay feels bad for most characters, abilities feel useless and everything takes about 20 shots too much to kill.
You can tell this game is made by the same people who made Borderlands, because it takes everything bad from those games and nothing good from them.

PvE with friends.
PvP.
PvE is super simplified Borderlands style play. From my experience, you need friends for it, though I'm sure that there are some characters that are capable of solo-ing it. Maybe.

In Paragon your characters move slow as fuck and you attack like once every 2 seconds, for the fast people at least.
No idea why they decided to change it up with the visuals and their amazing Y axis(which Battleborn has and does better) then make it super fucking slow.

No melee character can do that without any sort of back up but keep saying so. The only truly imbalanced melee character during Open Beta was Galilea and she has since been nerfed. The advantage of melee characters is high damage to compensate for having to get in melee range. Just came here to say you are shit. Do you know that every character has a counter to melee characters? It's the crappy default melee button attack everyone gets - it pushes people back and knocks them in the air a bit. That gives you enough time to turn around 180° and sprint. If the melee guy uses a gap-closer you just use the melee button again to push him away and run again. That's before considering that you could deal damage to him all the while or use an ability to just keep him at range and finish him off by using your range to shoot him in his head while he tries to get close just to get melee'd once and pushed back as result again.
Just a few more hours to go. Then I'll play me a fun game with other people who aren't pessimistic, anti-social, no-friends-having, fucks.
